The Boats

We have a number of boats allowing us to cope with a range of abilities. Our Access dinghies form the backbone, providing a safe yet responsive introduction to being on the water. We have larger boats offering a more stable platform for getting onto the water - and all our activities are monitored closely by our Pioneer Safety Boats.

Hawk 20 'Dilly'

She provides comfort, stability and the chance to experience the feel of a 'big' boat while providing the thrills of a dinghy.

Roamer ‘Cara’

A sturdy yet safe boat she is appreciated by novices and old hands alike, particularly when the wind gets up.

Access 303s and 203s

Including Liberty and Sport versions of the 303. These are designed for people with disabilities. They are easy to sail, even with limited mobility and great fun too. If you can move an arm, you can sail one of these. With a fleet of eight boats we encourage these dinghies to race, providing improved learning, fun and a chance to show off your newly acquired skills.

Two Wayfarers

These are great dinghies for consolidating your sailing skills! Most dinghy sailors have experience of these and perhaps you will too.
